Tree of Life Nursery will be closing in December of this year. To celebrate the people who have supported California native plants and the impact the nursery has had in Southern California, the Orange County Chapter of the California Native Plant Society (OCCNPS) is hosting a Member Celebration Day at Tree of Life Nursery on Saturday, October 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Activities
- Date: Saturday, October 18
- Place: Tree of Life Nursery
- Time: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. check in
- Events: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Presentations by Colin Dunleavy and Californica Nursery
- Event: 11:10 to noon: Emyle Rogers guided draw-along. Paper and crayons will be supplied
- OCCNPS Members Only Lunch: Noon to 1 p.m. burrito lunches provided by Taco Mesita
- Closing Statements: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Event closing statements by Mike Evans and Jeff Bohn
- Bonuses: Expert Table by Dan Songster all day, rare plants on sale, special display to write a thank you note/memory to TOLN
Come to the nursery next Saturday and join your friends for lunch and grab some of those native plants you have been hankering for.
This special day will feature free box lunches for OCCNPS members including chicken, bean and cheese, and beef burritos from Taco Mesita. The box lunch will be served from noon to 1 p.m. and is available to members who register on our Eventbrite site here.

Special presentations by Colin Dunleavy of LiveForever Landscape and also from Californica Nursery are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. At 11:10 a.m., Emyle Rogers will host a draw-along art activity for art lovers featuring native plant illustrations with supplies provided.
Bonus activities include a native plant expert table hosted by Dan Songster, a rare plant sale, and a special art board where you can share your memories of Tree of Life Nursery for owners Mike Evans and Jeff Bohn.
From 1 to 2 p.m. enjoy closing statements from Mike Evans and Jeff Bohn.
